Splashpaw giving Bob the name 'cloud cat' is me when I'm watching movies. I never remember anyone's names, so I base what I call them off what I first see and think about them, like I was watching Fantastic Beasts the other day and Newt is forever in my heart as Case Guy.
When Splashpaw left the leader's den she couldn't suppress a groan. She had tangled herself up in SO MUCH trouble. Mysticstar even seemed a little bit angry. She had not only, 'gone deep into ShadowClan territory' but also been lugged back by the clan leader himself! Splashpaw looked to the Tall Rock. Mysticstar was not there. Splashpaw climbed down to the main level of camp. There Mysticstar was, face to face with Hollyblaze, and some other cat she didn't know. The whole clan was in shock, so Splashpaw bet she had missed something. Wait! Splashpaw knew the other cat. He was the cat she had seen on the moor, the grey and white cat! Splashpaw looked at Mysticstar, but got caught in Hollyblaze's glare. "She must have heard!" Splashpaw realized. She hid in the crowd, and was almost more disappointing to not even have a glaring parent looking at her with hard love. Speckleflight was in RiverClan, looking after her mother, and rumor had it that Mysticstar and Hollyblaze wouldn't let her return as if nothing would happen. She was sure Mysticstar thought that Krestlestar hated the surprise pop-ins. Splashpaw honestly wouldn't care. Mysticstar nodded patiently to the two cats, one a stranger. Hollyblaze conversed in hushed tones with Mysticstar for a moment before the Cloud Cat protested. "What if I don't want to join the clan? What if I want to go back to my twolegs?" the challenge rippled around the gathered clan. "A kittypet? Hollyblaze brought a kittypet into camp?" Mysticstar spoke up again. "You said it yourself, your twolegs are gone." Cloud Cat nodded. Mysticstar was obviously right. "Do you wish to join the clan?" Mysticstar continued. Cloud Cat nodded again. Mysticstar leapt onto the Tall Rock. She saw her clan was already gathered and she continued. "Bob, please step forward." Mysticstar told Cloud Cat. The strange former kittypet did so. The whole clan was silent. "Bob, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Splotchpaw. Your mentor will be Silverwillow. I hope Silverwillow will pass down all of the nobility, companionship, and loyalty she has been taught by Mistydust on to you." Splashpaw realized that Silverwillow was once a kit from the remains of a falling nasty rogue group. She would have to teach Cloud Cat nobility, loyalty and the other things Mysticstar had said to Bob, and most likely been taught the same things. Hollyblaze turned her attention to the next more prioritized problem, Splashpaw. She really was a good deputy. Mysticstar turned too. "Splashpaw, Hollyblaze, meet me in my den. Silverwillow, hold off on Splotchpaw's tour until Splashpaw can join him please." Silverwillow nodded. Cloud Cat looked shy. Splashpaw gulped.
