please read the whole thing to find out how it works. also check out this project too https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/415402166/ supported characters: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789-_ !?.:;)(><'"*`&$@/\[]{}%, your comment can't be too long or it won't show/will be cut off! some comments will be skipped! this is because the server only checks comments on a fixed interval this is not intended as a chat room please don't treat it as that :) credit to @-Rex- for the pen text engine (it wouldn't be as cool without it) credit to kevin macleod for his free music attribution for his music at the bottom information below: this works by updating two cloud variables every 6 seconds with the latest comment by using a computer that's always on running a nodejs script. the project will then display the comment and username by using a pen text engine by @-rex-. i am not changing the text manually as that would be crazy. as with the other one, this might be more accurate than the comments displayed on your page (page caching and when you loaded the page are factors) try pressing ctrl + shift + r to hard reload the page to get your computer to show you the un-cached version of the page which might show the latest comments (my counts will not be affected) i don't want to be spamming scratch with requests, so you may need to wait up to 10 seconds to see the comment change. as with the other one, this project is a demo / experiment of the scratch api. the intention is not to game the system or exploit people's curiosity. you do not have to comment if you don't want to, if you do however, thanks for participating. hopefully this isn't against the TOS or community guidelines, but just so i'm clear, this isn't meant for any malicious purpose, i just wanted to demo something cool. enjoy!
