So I was working on making the Avisen species look less human for the book I was writing and it was really satisfying for my characters that live in Merlin- the Avisen Kingdom. However, it also meant I had to update Rueben and Piper's designs as well. (Press Space to see Piper) This was pretty difficult for me given Rueben in particular has had the same consistent design with only slight changes for the four years he has been my character. I changed Piper's hair from ponytails to a braid and gave her a tattoo a bit ago but she's been decently consistent as well. I decided to stick with the integrity of Rue's original design- the hair color, skin color, the freckles and the headband. However, he now has a pointier face, a beak-like nose and feathers for ears. Piper is about the same. I think she can pull it off better than Rue can haha so I was a bit less delicate with her redesign. The writing above them are their names (Rueben Hawk & Piper Hawk) in the Avisen Language I'm working on ^^ The song is On Top of The World by Imagine Dragons :)
