Description

Pretty happy with this one honestly, the background is the Questioning flag, which for those who don’t know means I’m figuring out my sexuality. If you want to know my full process go below the message below this. About OOTNAF/One or Two Nights at Foosbills, since school started I’ve lost a bit of motivation and I have less time to do my personal projects. Because of this, the project will never be finished. Honestly, I have way more on my plate right now, even beyond scratch. We’ve got school, Victoria (the Aussie state I’m in) has begun an almost full on second lockdown and masks are now mandatory, combined that with the fact I’m ALSO questioning my sexuality means that I’m really just gonna focus on my other projects. I’m working on a larger project now though, and it’s not on scratch, but through multiple websites. You guys will be able to interact with it and change the story. To make this I used procreate, so most will be applicable to most paid drawing apps (on mobile and computer) some features might not be available to you. First of all, I used a pencil brush and drew a sketch, then doing a new layer. On the new layer I initially did an outline with a larger brush, doing the details with a smaller brush, drawing the eyes on a different layer to avoid having to mess with filling it using the paint bucket tool. Instead I made a layer underneath with the white underneath the eyes. Then I got the questioning flag and due to it’s lower quality (and the vibe) I added some Gaussian blur, and it has the effect you see where it makes the colours blend together more. Then, I duplicated it and put that on top of the drawing of me, then lowering the opacity of it, making it give the drawing of me the tints of the colours of the flag. I then wrote my username in white, then duplicated it and moved it below, giving the duplicated one some Gaussian blur to make it ‘glow’.
