So yea my brain apparently can't focus on only one thing at a time so here's another AU alternate because apparently there was a need for more. AU/character info: Erites is the god of destruction, weaving, and welfare, and lives in an AU were monsters do not exist, half skeleton half human gods and humans live there instead. Most of the gods live on Earth with mortals, protecting nature, guiding the mortals way of life, and various other things, usually related to what god they are of. In turn humans worship these gods and present offerings to them on alters made for each god. Erites is a very powerful and well known god, being both highly respected and feared, for many reasons. While he is the god of destruction, his work is nesasery to allow new life to flourish and to keep nature in balance, thus is usually not considered a "evil" god. He is often represented as a symbol of thankfulness, and to not take simple things in life for granted. Both mortals and gods fear him for he is known for his hot temper, and has a ridiculous amount of strength that he has trouble reining in. The mouth tattoo on his stomach can turn into a real mouth with the snap of his fingers, but will sometimes appear involuntarily when he is very angry, happy or just hungry. (This is very reminiscent to the Chaos King from Deltarune because I just love stealing ideas) The roar from his two mouths are believed to cause earthquakes. While fairly introverted, he is very curious, and can get pretty chatty when he is confertble enough with someone. He is a massive narcissist, and loves talking about himself. The most common offerings left for him at his alters are ornate mirrors, fine woven silk, rich food and alcoholic drinks, as he has shown great intest in those items, and his worshipers wish to please him so they may be spared of his wrath. In many myths is is foretold that Erites will one day lose himself so much that all life on Earth will be destroyed from his fury. Eventually by the help of a higher power even the gods don't know much about, life will return to Earth. It is often referred to as The Cleansing Of Life. This, of course, sets a lot of people on edge whenever Erites is angered or even around at all, as when and what triggers his destructive tantrum will never be known until it's to late. (Look at me being all myth-y) He often finds himself pretty isolated from others because of this prophesy. Ironically enough this story is usually what sets him off, claiming that he would never allow himself to get as angry as to destroy a entire planet full of life. Despite his narcissism and self-centeredness, he isn't completely selfish, and cares about the humans that worship him, even if he considers them below himself, though this isn't uncommon for most gods in his universe. Some notes: I usually go with the hc that monsters are made of pure magic with their souls serving as all their body systems, so no blood and flesh and stuff. Well in this universe that idea is thown out the window because I am drunk with power so blood and guts now yay. Also if your wondering the fleshy parts on the man is the torso, forearms and thighs cuz more yay. The gods are all 80ish feet tall, but can shrink down to around 8ft or so if they wish The markings on Erites's body glow UwU. Also there not all completely random, the first set of arms have sun and moon patterns, representing night and day. The second have flame patterns, representing fire. The third have wave patterns, representing water. Yes I know I'm very smart. I didn't do a full body but his legs are similar to the original Error in the fact that they lower leg and feet are red. The marking cover the red part to. Also he wears those bracelets on his ankles to yay. Also I downloaded a new brush so was messing around with that here, you cant really tell though.
