It was confirmed. Falconflight, Honeypaw, and Mothbright's mentor, a name Swiftkit got too bored to memorize found blood, and the smell of the badger. Next, they had found a little blue-grey body. Swiftkit couldn't get over her grief. First her grandparents, then her mom and dad, and then her little brother. Swiftit had cried freely. No one had known Blurkit as she had. They had played, had fun, and shared secrets, and since Swiftkit doubted starclan was real, she knew she would never see him again. Swiftkit had turned away the pity. She had hidden herself in her own little hole of grief. All she could think about was her dead relatives. Seasons changed, and Swiftkit turned 6 moons. Still grieving, she didn't hear much of her apprentice's ceremony. All she knew was that her mentor was Falconflight. "Meeting dismissed!" Thornstar called, jumping down from the rock. Her warm eyes fixed on Swiftkit--now Swiftpaw before padding into her den. Swiftpaw looked at Falconflight. _-this would've been Blurkit's mentor-_ she thought. _-no, Blurpaw. His mentor is mom-_ She would keep Blurkit's spirit with her, training with her. That way, she could be an apprentice, and share stories with another cat. Swiftpaw padded behind Falconflight. She imagined herself talking to Blurpaw, since patrols were boring. She teased him about having to clean the elders' den yesterday, she told him about her great hunt. All in her mind, so her mentor didn't think she had bees for brains. Blurpaw and her hunted together Blurpaw caught an invisible shrew while Swiftpaw caught a real one. They shared prey outside the apprentice's den, and she ignored Honeypaw, and expected he wouldn't care. That was until the day the white deaf kit showed up in camp
