┊ ┊.⋆˚ hai! here is my entry for lovely Floral Fox ┊ ˚✧^w^ ˚➶ enjoy my story~ -ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ- The moonlight shone on the lake, showing a silky pink silhouette perched on a rock on the shore. The figure swished their tail, and listened to the night noises around it. A little girl who was taking a walk to enjoy the night breeze approached the lake and saw the figure with moonlight dancing on its fur. The girl approached closer and stopped a few yards away. The unknown figure turned quickly to face the girl, then ran into the bushes as quick as a fox. Gasping, the girl ran after the animal, quickening her pace as she went farther from the lake. The animal kept dashing side to side, and jumped over rock and ducked under tree limbs. The girl did all these things too. Both were nimble and fast. The animal then went into a cave with lichen hanging from the roof. Feeling the lichen slither over her head, the girl followed. Then they both stopped. With the hole in the roof clearly letting the moonlight bathe the animals fur, the girl saw it was a fox. But this fox was adorned with flowers, all of them different colors and bringing sweet scents towards the girl. Looking straight into her eyes, the fox jumped. And it vanished when it went down. Down where the girl didn't know. But she ran too and jumped where the fox had jumped. She fell. She fell for a very long time, feeling the cold air rush up towards the top of the hole, but she kept going down. After what seemed like hours, the girl landed on a soft patch of grass. Around her were butterflies and robins, and the sunlight danced around her. She looked straight ahead and saw the fox, who was staring back at her. It nodded and walked away, swishing its tail. Where she had landed was beautiful, and the girl wanted to thank the fox. So she hurried to catch up with it, and when the fox saw this, it stopped. "What is it you seek?" it asked. "I just wanted to thank you for bringing me here," the girl replied, feeling nervous but didn't show it. "I guided you here, but it was with your skill and nimbleness that you were able to arrive," the fox turned to face her as it said this. The girl blushed from the praise. "I didn't see it that way," she blurted. "Now you do." And with that, the fox continued on. It kept talking though and the girl had to hurry after its brisk pace. "Now you can receive your reward. Enjoy this land and when you wish to return to your humble Earth, simply walk onto that patch of grass," it pointed its muzzle at the patch the girl had fallen on, "and you will return." The girl hugged the fox in thanks, who wrapped its tail around her.
