My goal for today was to do a quick project, and I'm happy because I've spent less than 20 minutes on this one! Yay! (Edit: I've spent +40 mins for this reflection! :)) I've realized that I'm not only inspired by other people's ideas, but also by the ways in which other people come up with their ideas! (So thank you all for sharing your reflections!) For example, this afternoon I went to play basketball with my two roommates, so I made a project about that. In choosing an activity I did today, I was inspired by others like @karenb who made a project about a tree she saw during her walk, and @elfwood who made a project about something new she learned today. In choosing the sprites, I decided to continue the adventures of the bat and the ghost who were exercising in my project yesterday (adding a new friend, the monkey). I realized I was inspired by @PinkyPepper and others who are making a series of projects featuring the same characters going through different adventures. I don't know if I'll continue with them, but it was inspiring! Moving the ball provided a perfect context for using messages, as very often kids want to make something happen to a sprite when they click on another one. I've also experimented with tricks to make the basket clickable – see inside to see how it works! If I had more time I'd add a sound for bouncing ball, think of a better title (updated, thanks for the suggestions @MissMissShelly and @coachNewton), improve the movement of the ball, find a way to hide the purple circle in the thumbnail (edit: solved!), make the ball go back to a random player after a shoot (now it always goes back to the monkey).. there are so many things I could spend hours working on! :)) Actually writing all these ideas makes me feel better: even if I don't have time to make them happen, at least I'm putting them out! Thanks everyone for all your projects, and above all for your reflections and your comments! I'm really inspired by this community in multiple and unexpected ways!
