Prologue: I become a rogue I walked out of school that very morning with a monster with the name of deracne in my mind. I didn't know what they were, all I could do was think that m life was about to end. That day had been the second day of school. I had signed up for the gardening club, and I was now here... Today hadn't been my dream day. I had wished I would be able to stay at this school for more than a year... but no, more monsters had to attack me. How... nice. I ran as fast as I could away from the deracne and thought about my day more closely. The first thing in the morning, I had entered my classroom, and put my name down for the gardening club, because I was good at plants, and was known to make gardens into palaces. I was good with flowers, and trees, and nature in general. Sometimes, I seemed to talk to the squirrels in my backyard. It was weird. Today, there had been a new kid in school. She went by the name Kelli, although she looked a bit old to be in 4th grade. I didn't push it. I just left her alone, and did my normal thing. I played with a flower. My fidget I guess, since I am an ADHD kid. I had looked around the classroom, and saw that no one else seemed to care about Kelli. That was when my day changed. I noticed something about her. One of her legs was made of metal. A what-do-you-call-it? A prothsthetic leg or whatever. But she smiled at me, and said. "Lets go to the courtyard." I decided I'd better not get on her bad side, because I could get a nasty kick from that leg. Little did I know that I was already on her bad side... I felt bad for her. "So, where do you transfer from?" I had asked her. She smiled and said. "Tartarus." It took me a second to register what she had said, but then I blinked. "What?" She smiled, and started to grow. Her outfit changed into ragged, and I noticed that one leg was some sort of animal leg, and the other was metal. "You're a snake thingy." I remember saying, looking at her hair, which was now two long snakes down her back. She smiled. "Yes," and then she had started to chase me. Since I didn't have a weapon, I had no choice but to run. I ran as fast as my legs would carry me out of the courtyard, into the school, and across the parking lot, into the street, and towards the townhouses in the distance. I knew she was gaining on me. i had no chance of surviving. Suddenly, since I hadn't been paying attention to what was in front of me, I bashed into a wall. I was trapped.
