In 1978, Valok Video separated itself from Dakal Home Video to be an independent company, but Falan Films later made an agreement with the company 4 years later, thus resulting in the foundation of Valok and Falan Limited. In 1985, the Valok Video label was dropped. Since then, the company is active and uses the Valok and Falan Limited (later Falan Home Video) before its remains would form Darkstar Entertainment Group in 1994.
