They sold well, just like their rival the Fiat Punto mk1, leading to the market being overly saturated making them really cheap in the early 2000s. However, due to the mid-00's scrappage scheme, not many remain and they are quite rare, especially the special editions, or the Sculleria. When a Sculleria pops up on eBay or AutoTrader every few months, they go for around £2500 regardless of condition. The Scoppio had bad safety ratings however, and were more expensive than others to insure. They also had mechanical issues from day one. Other than that, they were a very capable small car, with the 1.1 and 1.3 engines being rather nippy (being a lightweight car). Some say the styling was old fashioned - Brandt preferred to call it 'retro'. Lower models (Such as the L or G) feature poppy windows (!!!) rather than wind down ones. Top of the range (look for i's) have electric front and rear windows too. - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/409708397/ Yes, the sporty Sculleria trim only comes as the Tango special edition at the moment. hopefully i will fix this
