press space to see the full image ♥ so i had like a scratch renaissance in which i posted almost 20 new projects in 6 months after only posting about 6 new projects in one year. then i dropped off the planet again (': my family is moving rn and that's been super hectic plus i'm also going to college in the fall so that means two moves at once! yay! (ahhaha :') before the move(s) started crashing down around my shoulders, i had been working 6 days a week and attempting to work on my comic (which i was slamming into a roadblock with) and i was not doing so hot. now i'm only working 3 days a week thankfully and we just sold our house which means all the frantic make-this-house-sparkle-so-it-will-sell business is finally done. now there's just a month to finish packing before we move but that should be enough... anyway this summer has been a hectic mess just like the last two so far and to make it better, it's 2020! wOw what fun!! i remember the good ol' days when summer meant actually getting a break... i'll probably never have that again now that i think of it anyway! i don't really know what the point of all this blabbering is... essentially, i still love scratch and i want to be on here often like i was in my renaissance but i've been swamped :') i hope you enjoy this lil drawing in the meantime! i'm not quite sure if i fully like it or not but i'm really happy with her eyes and lips. the background turned out good too but i'm not sure how i did with the backlit highlight thingy. might've gone overboard idk. let me know what you think and what i can do to improve <3 hope you guys are doing well! i'm always happy to chat! no lie comment notifications are the only ones i really enjoy getting :) likes and such are cool but i think everyone can agree that studio activity ones are the worst. love you all. ♥ (also if i have a son by ruth b. is a beautiful song)
