I have just enough battery life to post this! First of all, huge shoutout to Home Free, Lee Greenwood, and the United States Air Force Band for coming together to create the masterpiece that is this cover! Before I continue, just gotta say don't forget to check out their video on youtube: https: //www. youtube.com/watch?v=SrMftm6Km3g :) Anyway, I just had to make a post for the Fourth. Despite what is going on in the US and what is going on in the rest of the world, I think that it is appropriate to lift our hearts in celebration for many reasons--even if everything seems downcast now, we can celebrate the lives of America's everyday heroes and the rest of the world's everyday heroes--the people who rise up to help their neighbors--the people with the courage to step out of their homes to work despite the virus--the people who fight for every man, woman, and child living in the world. Every day, so many people step up to help their neighbors---I've seen it with my own eyes! I feel like if anything, we should celebrate these people--these heroes of America and these heroes of the rest of the world! I am proud to call them my friends, family, and neighbors. Yes, there may be a lot that is wrong, and so much pain and sorrow is sweeping through the country right now, but I am proud to be an American--I am proud to live in this country where even with all of the problems that are going on, American heroes rise up together--where we stand firm--where we've fought for our freedom--where we've built hope even in the darkest times. I'm proud to be an American, where I have the freedom to let my voice be heard--where I have the freedom to stand with my heroes. Besides celebrating Independence Day, I would like to take the time today to celebrate America's heroes. To celebrate the rest of the world's heroes. Some of them I know personally. Others I do not. No matter what, today I celebrate their lives. I celebrate their bravery. I celebrate their love. Thank you. You are my heroes. <3 God Bless you, and God Bless The USA! Extra note-- One of my lineman buddies sent me a text and he said that he and the rest of his crew have been busy replacing all of the power poles the tornado knocked down, so I should be back to my usual activity soon! Love you all! Happy Fourth of July!!
