Today is Independence Day. It is not simply a celebration of our liberty as Americans but a reminder of those who gave their lives fighting for our independence. I'm American. My location had been set to Canada because I don't want to be seen in the stereotypical views that a lot of people have about American culture, such as being loud and always eating salty meals, neither of these stereotypes align with me at all. Canada was in the same time zone as America but wasn't America, so I'd had that set as my location for a while. Before Canada, my location was Saint Barthelemy, which is basically the French version of Hawaii in terms of land and territorial ownership.
