For this project I wanted to play around with cloning. I am thinking about it as an example project to share with my students when I introduce them to cloning sprites. Many of them have trouble with this because you have to create a clone in one script and then write a script for the clones. Here I have commented the code so they can see the both of these parts of using clones. I started with just the fish in the coral reef backdrop and tinkered until I achieved the explosion of fish clones effect I was looking for. From there I added backdrops and put the corresponding sprite for each one as a costume on the fish. There are code blocks that switch the costume to match the backdrop. There's probably a more elegant way to do this (without using 7 scripts), but I wanted to keep it simple for my students. The backdrops switch every 3 seconds randomly. I used the built in "Mystery" sound loop because I like projects that are set to music.
