edit: reposted, originally from 6/4/2020 fourth on trending for "hollyleaf"! wow, look, another hollyleaf map!!! i thought this song fit hollyleaf really well so here we go- rules- 1. READ THE ENTIRE SCRIPT. some parts of the script won't make sense without reading the others, for instance the lineart style of part of hollyleaf's nightmare. 2. use the refs i made! i spent a long time on them so please use them! for characters i didn't include a ref for but you want to use or are mentioned in the script, use nifty senpai's designs! 3. for this map, i'm looking for sort of rough-looking animatic-style animation. cleaned-up sketchy-ish lineart is ok for a lot of this, and a few parts are even ok to use pmv in. however, for the black-and-white lineart parts i would like to see clean, smooth lines. 4. lipsync only when the script specifically says to! speaking of the script, i occasionally get super specific with descriptive language, and you don’t have to follow all of that to the word- it’s just there to set the mood. 5. using small amounts of the glitch effect during hollyleaf's deam is perfectly fine, but when it specifically says to use it, go all out! if you don't have a program that lets you use "chromatic aberration" or "glitch" or something like that, i recommend putting your drawing through photomosh ( photomosh.com ) and turning on the jitter effect. make sure you're on the gif setting, then click "record." 6. leave links to previous map parts that are relavant to the part you're auditioning for! the cxdewxrd is your birthstone, try and hide it if you can uwu. 7. if you can, shade in a blue tint and highlight in a yellow tint. if you want to do backgrounds in a style based on the show, that's epic and i'd love to see people try that out, but if you aren't comfortable doing that, it's perfectly ok to use your own background style. 8. you have one month to finish your part from when i accept you! also, i will be picky with this map so don't be sad if you aren't accepted. if i don't specifically tell you that you got the part, please don't make a part! however, anyone can make a thumbnail entry. if you'd like to enter the thumbnail contest, just remix with your entry! you don't have to ask! parts- intro. @ladyscientist 1. @coffeeebeach (wip) 2. @nightfrost43 (done) 3. @Sc0urged (done) 4. @-glassheart (done) 5. @_-CinnamonArrow-_ 6. @ml463068 (done) 7. @_Nuttmeg_ + @ladyscientist (done) 8. @ 9. @kitty_doughnut (done) 10. @ 11. @coffeeebeach (wip) 12. @fib1123meow (done) 13. @-floof- (done) outro. @ladyscientist backups- @ @ @ complete thumbnail entries- @--Rainii-- @128peach @-sky_lark- @ credits- music. that distant shore from steven universe by rebecca sugar feat. jennifer paz story/characters. the erin hunter team everything else. @ladyscientist (me)
