I posted! It's been a while, sorry. This is an entry for the amazing @-squichaii-'s DTA! Congrats on 1000 followers! :D I fell in love with Beach Girl (2) so I was like, "I should enter for her!" and then I actually did end up entering! #rae1k! I want to use her in animatics and maybe make a comic or animated series with her because she's so cute. I love her design. :0 Her name is Delta Carter and she works in Forever 21 at the mall on the pier. She's also a junior at High Tide Academy, a private school that's five minutes from the beach. After work and school, she runs down to the beach to surf and occasionally fight monsters. She's encountered sirens and krakens, but none of them are worse than the kids at her school, who have it out for her. (Fun fact, her name is based off of the "triangular tract of sediment deposited at the mouth of a river, typically where it diverges into several outlets".) She moved to the coast of California with her family three years ago after she finished middle school. Her dad had received a great job offer at a large company and they were able to pay for better schooling and surf lessons. Her mom is a stay-at-home mom, but she's always with her friends and she's trying to run a blog. Neither of her parents have much time for her, so she spends most of her time at school, work, or the beach. Moving to California was hard for Delta because she wasn't used to the way kids dressed or acted there. She tried to be sociable and friendly, but the kids didn't take much of a liking to her there. Delta's often teased and picked on by the other kids, so she doesn't like to spend much time at school. (There's more than one piece here! Please click the image or use the arrow keys to navigate.) This art is a bit outdated, I did it about a month ago but I wasn't sure when to post it. Also, the song is Hot Rod by Dayglow! He's super underrated and he also shows you how he makes his songs on his YouTube channel. I picked this song because it gave a really summery and fun vibe. I made the transition code myself. I'm brainstorming ideas for an animated series. Let me know if you have any ideas for how characters should meet, and tell me if you're interested in watching, voice acting, or helping otherwise!
