Chapter 1: I woke up, and everything seemed a blur for a moment. I frowned, and then I remembered everything. Instead of my own, cozy den, with no one intruding in on my space, me and my family were crammed into a small den. I realized that the moon was out, and Light's foot was in my face. "Light!" I muttered. "Move your foot!" She muttered something unrecognizable and kicked my muzzle. I had enough. I got up from where I had been sleeping uncomfortably, picked my way over a sleeping Storm, and I padded outside into the cold moonlight. I looked up into the starry sky. We were close to the long-paw territory, and I knew we wouldn't stay long. The trip drove me mad! Storm always complained about her paws hurting, and Light would stop every five heartbeats to look around. Green Apple and Furry were getting crazy... I was too. I felt a droplet of rain on my back, and I hear thunder crashing in the distance. I hurried back into our den. Green Apple sat up from where she slept, on top of a tree root. "You're up too?" I whispered to her. "Yes." She whispered in a low voice back. I jumped over Dad and padded over to the pale orange she-cat in front of me. "Was it the thunder or rain?" I asked when I was closer. Green Apple shook her head. "Neither... it was the danger coming upon us soon..." I frowned. "What danger?" Green Apple shook her head. "I'll tell you in the morning, but for now, try to get some sleep." _-Very unlikely,-_ I though dryly, before nodding, and sitting down in my sleeping place, I didn't realize how tired i was until I was fast asleep.
