Ranow is kinda like Sans, very knowledgeable about the timelines, secret lab, knows about W.D. What's different is that he hasn't given up, and has decided to quit his job as a scientist, and has started to kill humans. He wishes to end the human race far more than anybody in the underground, and because of this, he will show up multiple times, just to fight you. You can run when he's asleep though, because fighting is very tiring for him. If you do make it to the elevator, he'll call it as you are going upwards, and apologize. Then, he'll stop attacking, and try to help you. In Genocide, this want to kill you has become his main goal. He's got no choice, since if you continue, you won't stop killing. He'll pursue you until the end of Purple Plains, and for the last fight, he'll be waiting in front of the LAB. He won't hold anything back. The new area is called Purple Plains, an area that's home to alot of purple. And when I say alot, I mean it. There are purple mushrooms shaped like umbrellas, purple stones that might or might not be a switch, there's even purple doors. Most of the stuff there is edible, exept for the walls, floor, ceiling, and stones. If you come across purple grass, then it might be your lucky day! That's an incredibly rare item. It has a 1 out of 100 chance to spawn, so good luck finding one. It heals all of your HP, and it'll give you a DEF boost.
