The lyrics sounded to me like the robot was breakdancing! I thought that any robot living with this friend would be very happy, and so would want to dance and sing a lot. Maybe they would both breakdance together, spin on their heads and do the Worm! That idea inspired this project... With this project, we can all make a customised Robot friend to sing and dance with...Hurray! I started with the idea that I would make all the robot customisation choices randomise, and maybe use lists to store the names of choices to pick from. But then I thought it would be nicer to be able to choose some aspects of your robot design for yourself, using button sprites. So in the end, I only randomised the Mode of the robot, and as there were only 3 possible choices ('Discombobulation' - inspired by @Coach_Newton), I just used picked random 1 to 3, and set a different facial expression and sound depending on the Mode selected. Only small frustration was getting the Mode buttons to each flash on and off randomly, to make it look like a Mode is being randomly chosen for you. Not sure that "Happy" is working with this code, but wanted to finish the project, and thought it actually makes it more tense (if you want a Happy Robot but don't see the button flashing while it's choosing) so left this as it is. A success I enjoyed most was getting the robot to do an actual Robotic dance move. Was really happy it worked with just a couple of change costumes and the whirl effect. Hint: If you watch the Robot dance a while, you might see a Roomba appear too, with a passenger! Have fun!!!
