While it may never have had the success of more storied names, Leyton House brought the world both an iconic livery and the engineering expertise of now-Red Bull CTO Adrian Newey in its short time in Formula One. (It also involved a massive financial scandal around the team owner, but that's another story.) The CG901's aerodynamics and extreme approach to engineering was so absurd that the transmission had to be routed straight through a carbon-fibre tunnel going through the fuel tank. However, this engineering mastery and complexity (plus the pretty paint) may not have paid off in the end, as a large amount of failures eventually got Newey fired; however, he did go on to design ten championship-winning cars, so I think that could be considered as a pretty decent career.
Everything by me except for the majority of the sponsors, which were just grabbed off of the internet and modified. Leyton House The tyre lettering isn't as good as I'd like it to be.
