Description

==== // - Press space! I'm bored. So bored, in fact, that I finally did something I've been wanting to do for at least a month, which is to design characters with predetermined colors. Usually, I draw first and pick colors later, but having rigid, uneditable colors puts a barrier in the creative process. A challenge! I was inspired by streetwear for their outfits, but idk if that's obvious or not ;w; // - 1 - Harlequin I couldn't decide which shade of brown would be better for her hair or skin, so I chose both! // - 2 - Greta Mint green + weird orange = No She was a pain to get moderately okay-looking. I wanted to keep her burnt pants, but neither wine, purple, or mint match very well. // - 3 - Limet Mint green + lime yellow = GHHhhHH I think he looks fine, actually. But in general, green clashes with a lot of stuff. // - 4 - Soda He was the most fun to make, mostly because I like this color combination the best. I always love adding doughnut shapes to characters because that's a shape you don't see utilized very often! Also, I think he has the most interesting outline. If you filled him in with black, he'd look the coolest out of all four because of his pink & blue head valves and dangling scarf. I don't know if that makes sense but B) // - Currently listening to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNXgknozyhw (Russian Hardbass. It's one of my favorite mixes/song compilations of all time!) // - Music: VITALITY [Remix] by SayMaxWell on youtube. Background: Idk the original source, but the funky edit was done by me :) ====
