Yeah, so um...Vegloko is a big uwu moment for me with my characters because I get this weird feeling in my gut whenever I think about the ship, and I think it's supposed to be caused by my raw concern for Koloko trying to cope with his loss of Vega, and I'm so glad I can connect with my characters on this level, especially because it's Koloko and you know how much I love this guy :eyes: Anyway, I said earlier that Vega was a supporter of Vantablack, and er, I'm willing to explain everything so er, ee :D So, Vantablack has supporters because y'know, he was actually a decent ruler, apart from the um, killing family members :| Let's not go into that. But anyway, people did believe that Vantablack should still be king, and Vega was one of them...mostly because she was living rough in a forest, abandoned, and Vantablack came along and helped her out :) See, he can be a good guy! So, blah blah blah, stuff happened with stuff, Batwing exists, Abyss also exists, that stuff happened, Batwing drained Vantablack of blood...then Virus decided to hold him hostage because she wanted to restore the Kingdom to peace, unlike Koloko, who was very much against the idea of becoming King. Anyway, Midnight and Vega (and also Vantablack) made a counter-thing (because smort), saying that they would get the crown in return for allegiance against Nebulous (that guy isn't really too important in this long explanation of Vegloko). Virus agreed because smort (She knows better than to give Koloko a say in this lmao). So anyway, that happened, and they all had to work together, and they all ended up living in the same base...ample opportunity for Vegloko to flourish. And it began on one mission against an outpost of some of Nebulous' soldiers. Vega pretty much saved Koloko's life. And then she started helping him and the rest of the gang (that's Virus and Greg - Abyss is a pacifist, Seer never saw himself inflicting harm upon anyone in his future so B] and Void's too old and creaky to provide anything but lore) with fighting technique (because Vega do be pretty good with the metal pain machines). And her, I daresay it escalated from there. 2 years later, Acturus was a fetus B) Nine months later, Arcturus was not a fetus, but a baby B) Five days after that was...DUN DUN DUUUUHHHN! The final battle with Nebulous! Koloko and Vega vowed to protect each other, but as they were overrun by Nebulous' soldiers, they became separated. Vega, not being a shapeshifter with an epic scythe and the ability to survive mutilation, was much more vulnerable than Koloko. She took out lots of enemies, but was unfortunately overpowered in the end. Koloko was devastated. He'd never had to deal with loss before (well, obviously with his family being killed by Vantablack, but I guess that was lost in the moment) and his immense sadness drove him away from everyone else. You know what he did? He went and grew carrots (don't judge him, carrots are his comfort food >:0). Arcturus is also cool smol kiddo because he's empathetic as hell and he knows exactly when Koloko needs a hug, and Koloko feels like he's failing as a father because he's the one being comforted all the time :/ It's so sad and I love it And while I was writing that up, I was listening to Never Be Alone (by TheFatRat) and the song triggered a new ship - Spekki! I guess it's kind of like Specloko in a way, because Spectre and Zekki aren't in love but my idiot self ships them anyway.
