This project will let you make your own 3D Spinning Text remix. (Please take a look at my "Spin Me!" project, if you haven't. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AddZero/406362) I tried to make this as simple as possible. The goal is for this to work as an introduction to 3d graphics. STEP 1: Download and install Blender, the free 3d program from http://blender.org STEP 2: Download and open this blender Template file: http://addzero.org/scratch/spin-me-template-for-scratch.blend (Right-click Save As) There's instructions inside on how to change the text and color and render the animation. STEP 3: Download and open this project in Scratch. Delete this sprite. Use your file browser to find and select the jpeg files Blender made, then drag those files into the Scratch window.
