Wow look at that generic background haha I did a speedpaint of my character Apollo. I have a million more productive things I could be doing right now but I chose to do this instead so Press space to see the speedpaint again. Song is Upside Down by Jack Johnson but I'll probably change it later.
This is Apollo. He is seventeen years old and a Junior at Nettlebrook High. He lives with his mother Piper and his brother Solstice (or Sully he goes by either). His father died on a camping trip when he fell off a cliff. (There's more to it than that but it's actually pretty complicated so I'll leave it there). Apollo since then took it upon himself to care for his mom and little brother. I feel like answering random character questions from the character development question generator on Springhole.net so I'm going to do that now: 1. Would your character trade his favorite pair of shoes for a time machine? Absolutely. Apollo isn't very attached to any of his shoes and he would trade anything to go back and prevent his father's death. 2. How does your character's least favorite teacher feel about their opinion on humanoid robots? I don't think Apollo is really smart enough to think about humanoid robots but Sully probably has some strong opinions. 3. If your character was responsible for the death of his father, how would he feel? Haha actually he kind of is responsible for the death of his father so that's a really weirdly specific question. He felt really really awful about it for a long time until they found out he was actually dying of natural causes anyway so 4. If your character's mother gave him a gift he didn't want how would he react? I feel like Piper would force him to like it. If he ever gave off the slightest hint he didn't like it, she would start leaving it places like on his bed, in his backpack even on top of his dinner until he eventually got attached to it. After 1-3 weeks of this, she'd threaten to get rid of it and he'd probably feel too guilty to let her. 5. If your character's maternal grandfather destroyed his favorite shirt, how would he react? Well Donavon is kind of a demon now so that would definitely be an interesting scenario. If James, his paternal grandfather, destroyed his favorite shirt, he'd probably be pretty mad and complain to his mom and then Piper would tell James to fix it and James would feel pretty guilty about the whole thing.
