STORY: Plankton has snail-napped Gary and plans to brainwash him and make him steal the Krabby Patty secret formula! Now, it's up to SpongeBob to travel to the cave where Gary is being held captive, to both save Gary and foil Plankton's plan! Along the way, he'll have to dodge robots, jellyfish, traps, and many more dangerous obstacles! Help him save his beloved pet snail! CONTROLS: Use the left and right arrow keys to move SpongeBob. Press the up arrow key to jump. Press the spacebar to throw coral bits. Throw coral bits at enemies to defeat them. Avoid spikes and lava. Get to the end and defeat the giant Plankton Robot to win!

At the time I made this, the remaster of Battle For Bikini Bottom was coming out, so I thought I'd create a remaster of MY SpongeBob game! DIFFERENCES FROM THE ORIGINAL: - All of the sprites are remade, as well as some of the sounds. I drew all of the sprites in the remaster, while in the original, most of the images I took from the internet. - Speech bubbles now have text that writes out on the screen. - SpongeBob now has a costume for throwing coral bits. - Lava now flows more. - There is now a bigger story in the instructions. - A glitch that allowed SpongeBob to defeat the boss before it even started attacking was fixed. - The "Plankton Robot's Health" variable now hides after you defeat the robot. Based on SpongeBob SquarePants, an animated television series created by Nickelodeon. The music is the title screen of "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie" for Gameboy Advance. The boss music is also from that game.
