Hello! This is Chapter 4 of The Shadow Realm! I am thinking of making an RP based off of this, so stay tuned! So, here is The Shadow Realm: Chapter 4! Enjoy! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ivy: I felt so bad about what Ember had said about Iris, so at night, I tried to comfort her. The face she made when Ember was saying mean things about her was so sad. Like the world had come crashing down on her. "You know Ember is just mean, right?" I said to Iris. "I know, but it still hurts." Iris replied. "Don't listen to her! Come on, are you going to listen to someone as crazy as Ember, or to me, your own twin?" I said soothingly. "You, but I can't forget what she said, & you know that." Iris said with a sigh. I hugged Iris, promising I would talk to Ember in the morning, & left the room to brush my teeth. In the mirror, I saw the shadows again. I looked around, but there was no one in the hall, so Asher must have been trying to prank me. I walked down the hall to his room, & he was there in the middle of playing the video game he's not allowed to use. I knocked on the door. "Hey Asher, are you pranking me?" I asked. He did not look up. I went to the bathroom, & spit out my toothpaste, then walked back to his room. I grabbed his headphones, & took them off in one swift move. "Hey! Give them back!" he said, grabbing at them, but too lazy to get out of his chair. "Are you pranking me?" I repeated. "No, your prank is tomorrow." he said, breaking out into a sly smile. "Ha ha. Well, did you see those shadows on the wall?" I asked him as seriously as I could. "Yeah, mine follows me." he joked. "I'm not kidding!" I almost yelled. "There are shadows when no one is around!" He did not seem to believe me. "Have fun with that." he said, grabbing his headphones back. I sighed walked to the door, turning back in the doorway. "You're not allowed to play that game, & I'm telling Mom." I said, then ran to the loft where Iris & I slept, locking the door behind me, as Asher chased me. Iris looked up. "What did you do?" she asked. "I stopped Asher from getting in trouble." I said slyly. Outside the door, I could hear Mom & Dad scolding Asher about chasing me, when we were not allowed to run in the hall. "More or less." I said, climbing into my bottom bunk. As I drifted off to sleep, I thought I saw the shadows again, but I was to tired to think about it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope you enjoyed that chapter!
