To commemorate Juneteenth, I decided to make this project and blockshade about Ruby Bridges. At the young age of six, she became the first African American to integrate into an all-white elementary school in the South. Her bravery helped advance the Civil Rights Movement. She continues to be a Civil Rights activist to this day and has since started her own foundation. Click on one of the topics to read about it, and click to go through the slides and go back. We must keep on working toward justice. It is of utmost importance that equality is achieved for all.
