Part of what AuroraClan does is guard the forest cats against the monsters of Limbo. To warn off any cats (other than dead ones) from the mouth of StarClan, there is a pillar of blue fire. IT IS NOT METHANE OF ANY OTHER GAS. It burns cold and is a sacred place.
