Welcome to my MAP!!! There are parts available to artists and animators alike! Before signing up, please review the rules! There is a lot of important info in there! If you want to do the thumbnail or be a backup, skip to the bottom of the instructions. Steps to get acepted~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1) Read Wings of Fire books 1-5 and both legends books. "What? I have to read the books to be in a map ABOUT the books?" Yes. You do! The script is full of spoilers that require you to know what the books are about. With that being said... SPOILER WARNING!!! This Map spoils the first arc and the legends arc. Now, if you have already read these books, then go ahead and continue! 2) Go inside the project and review the parts and script. There is a codeword hidden inside to make sure you actually read the script. 3)Make sure you read the rules! (Located down below) 4)Request a part in the comments! Use the CodeWord and the part you want. This is mentioned in the rules, but only take one part at a time! You may take more than one part, but not until you finish the first part! 5)Wait until I reply to your comment. Don't start animating until you are approved! I will reply to your comment! If you aren't accepted, I will still tell you that! I'm not going to leave you hanging! 6) Once accepted, remix the project. Pay attention to the notes I leave inside the project, please! They will make life easier for me and for you! 7) Accept the invite to become a curator of the studio at https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/26903588/projects/ Please stay up to date in this studio to make sure you don't miss any important info! 7.5~Optional~) Add this project to as many studios as you can 8) Publish the project when done! It also makes life easier for me if you post WIPs of your project so I can keep up to date on it. 9) Wait until all parts are done and then voila! The map is finished! I will message all the participants on their Profiles when it is done so that you can look at the whole map all put together! Rules~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Only use 1-3 sprites ~No animating on backdrop ~Use caution with adding gore because scratch is a kid-friendly site. Keep this map kid-friendly, ok? ~Gifs are allowed, but please keep the framerate at a 12 fps or below to keep it from overloading the project ~Don't add a watermark for your account! I don't mind if you have a mark from another company (ex. FlipAClip), but I'm going to add everyone's usernames on the final copy ~You may take as many parts as you want, ONLY AFTER YOU FINISH THE ONE YOU ALREADY HAVE! ~Follow the script! If you want to have a less scripted part, there are parts that have more freedom than others. ~Be honest about how complex of a part you can take. Don't take a difficult if you only have animated little things like a head turn. Please don't. ~There is no deadline, but you will be booted if you cut contact with the map hoster for more than a week. Just keep checking in on the map studio and take the time you need! That's all! Happy animating! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thumbnail designs: ~No need to ask, just remix the project and add the thumbnail as a Sprite (Not a backdrop) ~Put "Hosted by @KmbKmb24 on the thumbnail" ~Use your own art! Absolutely no passing off any art as your own. ~Put the song name (Ready, Aim, Fire) ~Write "Completed MAP" on the thumbnail ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Backup entry/// Backup entry is a great thing to do if you have a lot on your plate at the moment, but might be able to animate later! Just comment that you could take a backup, and I will put you on the list. If I have a drop-out, the backups get first dibs on filling in. The order of being asked goes through the list. Example: @Random*Scratcher quit. I need a fill-in! I ask my first backup if they want the part. If they say no, it goes to the second backup and so on. If no backups want the part, then the map reopens to the public to find a fill-in! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
