The effects of privilege in society run much deeper. Privilege means easily finding books or movies with main characters of your race. Privilege means being able to walk around a shop without being closely watched or followed. Privilege means the police treat you better. Privilege has such a profound impact on daily life, but those with it hardly know that it's there. Solving the racism deeply embedded in our society is something that will take all of our effort. This movement is extremely important. As a white person, I will do all I can to support the Black community. No one should be put at an advantage or disadvantage because of the color of their skin. I know we will never be able to heal the injustice of the past, but we must begin to eradicate white privilege for our future. Black Lives Matter.
