Description

**SLIGHT BLOOD WARNING IN BACKSTORY AND ANIMATION MEME. ONLY WATCH IF YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH THAT.** ----- congrats on 800+ followers!! I LOVEE this design and had to enter for her, I may have gone a little overboard, (with art, backstory, etc.) but I love her sooo much ^w^ ----- note: there's an animation meme and some art, so after the music fades out and changes you can press space switch between the two art pieces. ----- name - Blossom gender - female age - unknown likes - Feather, roses, busy places, shooting stars + meteor showers, looking at the stars through her telescope, playing on her switch >:D dislikes - Feather (yep she likes aND dislikes him, it's complicated), small spaces, cloudy nights, the train station, winter (she can't stargaze because its too cold during the winter), non-crowded places family - unknown / not in backstory other notes - Feather is the other cat that isn't Blossom in the meme, I included him because he's important to the backstory ----- backstory - It was a beautiful night in the city. Blossom was about to knock on Feather's apartment's door, she had decided to stop there on the way back from Sprout's shop (sprout runs a plant shop at the top of an apartment building.) Blossom's heart was pounding. She gave three swift knocks on the door and waited anxiously. It took a little bit, but she soon heard Feather's footsteps coming towards the door. Okay Blossom, she thought. You can do this. The door opened. "Oh hi!" Feather said cheerfully. "Come on in!" Feather may have sounded happy, but something seemed wrong. Maybe something was coming in the distance, like a storm. Maybe it was something worse. Since he was half blind in each eye, he always used his ears and antennae more than his eyes. And all of his energy was focused on this disturbance in the distance. Blossom smiled and said hi too. Then, she prepared to say what she had come to say. "Feather.." she said, almost whispering. "I am in love with you... do you feel the same?" (okay okay, i'm sorry, this is really cringey but I just need to get the point across) Feather turned his head toward her, startled. "I, uh..." he started, embarrassed. "I don't--" Blossom knew she would probably cry. She had tried so hard, but still. He didn't love her. Blossom ran out of the apartment into the hall, and slammed the door behind her. She took the stairs down to the bottom of the building, because it took so long for the elevator to get to the top. Meanwhile, Feather was confused. Why had she ran away so suddenly, and why had she cried? He hadn't even heard the question. He was going to say "Sorry, I don't think I heard that, I was a bit distracted," but he had been cut off by Blossom crying. Feather sat down on the edge of his bed, and he felt a tear run down his cheek. Why? he thought. He loved her... but she didn't seem to love him. Little did the two cats know, it was just a misunderstanding. But it changed their lives. As Blossom was running, she decided to go to a place far away, with a low number of other people. She bought a train ticket and went far away, as far away as she could possibly go. For months, Blossom was sad, and she would cry often. She threw the necklace that was given to her by Feather into a river. She didn't know that it would end up with someone it shouldn't have... Eventually, she came across a book. It had a quote on the title page. "If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are at peace, you are living in the present." The name of who said it was blurred and unreadable, and so were some other spots in the book. It seemed that long ago, someone had cried on it. Blossom took no notice to the blurred text. (note: this book is VERY important to other backstories that are linked to Blossom's. her backstory is basically linked to the main backstory of all of my characters) Instead, Blossom focused on the quote. Huh, she thought. I guess I'm living in the past. Her train of thought shifted a bit. Well, she kept thinking. I can't go on being sad and depressed for my whole life... that would be pointless. So... She smiled. Then she said one sentence out loud, only in a whisper. "Guess I've gotta make the best of it." From then on, Blossom was only ever seen with bloodstains on her claws and a sly smile on her face. ----- credits art - me coding - me background - not me, I found it on google
