So this project is a little different from my normal routine of weekly { ish } art posts, but I'm still glad to be able to share this :"> If you want to actually read the interesting stuff please look at the notes and credits ^^;; But, if you don't know what an EP is, it falls into the category of music release formats, such as singles and albums; obviously, a single is one song and an album is a collection of them :") In its most basic terms, an EP is a smaller collection of original music, usually about 4-6 songs { but it can be 2-3 songs with over 30 minutes of runtime } so yeP that's all I'm explaining for today :>
I have //technically// posted three of these songs on Scratch { New Life, Better Days, and Can't Be In Love } but all of them got a major reboot with some tracks that I made myself using a wonderful thing called GarageBand -- Most of the instruments are synthesized but the ukulele in Can't Be In Love is a recording that I made using my ukulele haha . . . And by the way, yes, two of these songs are a bit of a personal matter for me but it's nothing I can't discuss :")) Respectively, the two songs were New Life and Good Old Friend,, which are basically about this friend drama situation where I was in an extremely one-sided friendship In terms of friends and in terms of love there aren't a lot of songs about being the dump-er rather than the dump-ee and I thought it would be an interesting thing to explore I also liked the idea of the friendship I suffered not being "toxic" in any way because sometimes you just need to give it up for your own good, even if the other person isn't hurting you Yeeeaaah,,, that's my rant, please enjoy the songs!! :"D I had a fun time making and recording them and I'm so glad to bring you two unreleased songs that I never put on Scratch until today ☆ Sylvie out :> ☆
