It’s like almost nothing ever goes wrong for you, and when it does, it’s fixed immediately in a flash of rainbows and happiness. You’ve never seen someone permanently die in your arms. You’ve never had to hurt someone you loved to defend yourself. You’ve never lost everything you’ve ever known, having it all washed away into oblivion, to be thrown around and around like a ragdoll until you’re stuck in a place that’s like nothing you’ve ever known. Do you ever feel like nobody cares about you? Actually, actually, wait, I shouldn’t even ask that. You don’t. Of course you don’t. You always get what you want. Always. You’re out all the time having these grand adventures, and- I’m just stuck here, or left with the dumb option to tag along uselessly like a little pet, because that’s all I am. I wish I couldn’t feel sometimes. I never want to feel again. A-as much as I really do hate to admit it, I’m more like you than you think. It-it’s only that unlike me, you’re actually useful and special and.. actually really really really amazing. I just- wish that I could be just like you sometimes- I wish we could switch places. Then again, if you were me, you’d have some idea on what to do. You wouldn’t have to lie all the time. You wouldn’t want to. Everything would just be so much better if I disappeared some day and this was all a huge nightmare. All I do is drag you down, and don’t act like you care, because I see through those acts, all of them. Even if you don’t care, know that I do. I- really, really care- a-about you, I mean. Here’s an afternoon snack for ya’ll, take some of 15 year old Sock absolutely pouring her heart out after trying to run away from her problems for hours. I like doing art and stories of her, she has an interesting story in my opinion, and is a super duper fun character to work with. Sorry if this is a little bit to gorey, sad, or angsty for you haha.
