Point to the left edge of the screen to show the charms. This is not a simulator of windows 8.1, but if you are still using Windows 8 or 8.1, point to the upper right or bottom corner to show the charms. Start charm: if you click on it, it will bring you to the start screen. Share charm: click on it, it will say "share a screenshot with others?". Search charm: it will bring you to a box where you can search for your apps. Devices charm: click this charm to play, print or project your screen. Last but not least, the settings charm: if you click on it: you can change the desktop, start screen, and more.
I am no longer using windows 8.1 Professional. I upgraded to windows 10 Home.
