OH MY GOD I spent WAY too long on this: a grand total of 12 hours yay.... memes are haaaaard *ahem* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This weird-looking batcat's name is Riot. You know, he's a riot of colours. He used to sound like a riot too, until his adopted father Mars slashed his mouth and tongue shut in a fury. The scar tissue prevented him from speaking, or even making a sound. -----------------------------------------------------------------------Do you know Raggedstar from Warriors? The mentally/verbally abusive ShadowClan leader? That's Mars, but also seriously physically abusive too... He was horrible to Riot for no reason at all except, oh, his name, it's meaning, and how he fully lived up to it, and his too big claws and his eyescorching colours (like, bro! he can't help what he looks like!). It made Riot so angry and filled with hatred, but there was nothing he could do. ------------------------------------------------------------So, back to the backstory. When Riot's mouth was slashed, he ran out of the house and into a deserted street, where he collapsed. When he came to, he was lying down in a dark alley, where a mysterious jet-black she-cat with dark blue eyes had healed him. She was wearing a deep purple cloak that covered her whole body except for her tail. The scars would be permanent and he would be mute for the rest of his life, but he would live. She gave Riot his mask to cover his face and and a warm smile. "It suits you," she said as he put it on warily. He had never received a smile or a gift before. The mysterious she-cat asked if he would stay, but he shook his head no. He hoped he could convey his gratitude and warmth towards her, and his urgent need for revenge on Mars, in a single nod. Maybe she understood. She nodded her head and turned away. And Riot wondered as he left, had that been the tip of a bat wing poking out from beneath her cloak? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next morning, Mars was found by a mailman (mailcat?) on the floor of his living room, lying in a pool of blood. His throat had been slashed out and his eyes were bulged, as if he'd died in great terror. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the meanwhile, Riot padded into the dark alley where he met the she-cat. I suppose you can guess it was empty. Riot felt empty too. He dug his large claws into the ground and vowed he would find the she-cat who had saved his life and helped him get revenge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- phew that was- that was my backstory wow ok Notes: The meme was a little inaccurate: His front claws are actually bigger, and he DOES wear those cool socks on his hind legs.
