The actual name of the song used was Shine Brighter, a mashup by DJ Earworm, but as it's a remix of the top 50 from 2012, sort of a trip to the past, I figured I'd go with the year to fit better to the theme of this MAP. Thank y’all so much for 800 followers, imagine that number of people together in a room! I’ve been to concerts with fewer attendees, and I’m just crazy grateful <3 Rules: -You must have a MAP part, animation, or PMV from 2019 or earlier to re-animate. Earlier is better! I can make some exceptions if there’s been a lot of improvement in a short period of time, since after all, the entire point of this MAP is to inspire those earlier in their art journey! -No watermarks allowed. I’ll be adding the year of both parts in the bottom left corner, as well as a username watermark in the bottom right. -I stg don’t ask to enter the thumbnail contest. Telling me you’re entering is fine, but please note I won’t respond to those asking to enter. Assume the answer is yes. -You can change aspects of your animation if you like, as long as it’s clear that the new one is a redo of the original! -There is a loose deadline of a month, but as long as you're staying in contact with me and showing you're still working on it I'll be pretty lenient! -Both the old part and the redo will be in your part, so please either find a part in this that’s about double the length of your old part, or cut a piece out of the old animation to get it to fit better! -Codeword is “2012” and may change periodically -Do not put anything in the backdrops. Sprite limit is 3, although the fewer sprites the easier it is for me to put together. I’d really appreciate if you could use clones for glide effects and such! -If you use broadcast messages in your part, start them with your part number. (Example: 8.1, 12.2, 1.3) -Please don’t rage in the comments if you aren’t accepted. Please also read all rules, since if you fill all the requirements chances are you’ll be accepted! This MAP isn’t judged quite as much on skill as some others. -Please remix this project. It’s a pain to keep track of parts and thumbnail entries otherwise.
