Rex's ears tilt back as his eyes start watering looking at his friends lifeless form staring back at him. "Rex, do not cry. I'm in a better place." Hunter says as his tail flicks the halos on it following the same movement but doesnt touch. "B-but I still need you... i- I-" "hush. You know I cant come back to life, the battle is done, do not mourn I'll see you here once you fulfill your life." Hunter remarks with a calm but sad expression. Rex closes his eyes as a tear sheds trying to hold in his emotion. He nods slowly knowing he cant bring his best friend back to life. "Wait for me.." Rex whispers as Hunter walks over to him nuzzling Rex before starting to fade into the night sky. "Always." Red and Hunter met when they were kits, Hunter's parents were killed by wolves when they journeyed to meet with Rex's clan of cats to help then. Luckily Hunter escape but no with costing his parents' lives and his emotions. Soon he recovered from the trauma while he stayed with Rex's clan, learning how to hunt, play and survive in the wild. Rex and Hunter became instant friends when they first met and continued to stay best friends. Later many moons afterwards a lone wolf found the clan's territory and all the cats tried their best defending itm Hunter lived a really good life in his clan and wasnt afraid, charging at the canine with Rex and the others, defending their land together. But the wolf git their Jaws on Hunter, snapping his neck which snapped Rex's mind, making him drive out the wolf with scratches and bites. Hunter laid lifeless on the ground with a pool of blood until his lifeless form became different with a green tear drop, water to show "change" and his cheerful self was back but he knew he had to go. And you know the rest that was at the top >.< I'm sorry my backstories arent the greatest.
