They are born with what most people call "spirits" or a "second-life". They act as tails of their host, but are in mutual relationship. (spirits ≠ parasites) If their host die, the spirit may overtake the body, which gives their nickname "second-life". However, this is not preferred as most spirits have different personality from their host, and thus are not the same anymore. Tails of the new host (spirit) will still take the form of their old host, but no longer alive. Their tail may disintegrate the closer they are to their second death. (or third, if you are a celestial grade) ➸lace Lace/ribbons are not optional; they hold a ribbon in their mouth when born. Exceptions are immediately placed as common, and cast aside by society. The colour of the ribbons decide the grade of the lace spirits. ⌦ grade ➸ common - yellow/none ribbon - 0 to 1 ribbon - spirit same colour as base - single spirit - 3 colours ➸ uncommon - blue ribbon - 1 to 3 ribbons - spirit same colour as base - 3 colours - single spirit ➸ rare - red ribbon - 1-4 ribbons - + either of horn/wing - spirit same colour as base - 3 colours - single spirit ➸ divine - black ribbon - 1-5 ribbons - + horn and wing - spirit colour is different from base - single spirit - 4 colours - wings (small/large) ➸ celestial - white ribbon - 1-7 ribbons - + horn and wing - spirit colour is different from base - 5 colours - two spirits - wings (small/large/single) * for ribbon colours that fall inbetween grades are under the shade that is closest to the grades. (e.g. orange. Blood orange would fall under rare, but a light orange would fall under common.) ** most ribbons are found on the tails, connecting the Spirit and the host.

It means you have to ask for my permission to get it approved, however I'll most likely accept (make that 80%) if only it's from common to uncommon but I most likely won't approve it (for rarer grades) unless you are friends/mutual, or have an outstanding design. (see below for who's allowed to make one anyways) - People (from below) are allowed to make from common-divine sections, with maybe one celestial if you ask nicely :) most likely not accepting since I want to keep maybe the numbers to at most 10 :))) - You are only allowed to make one Lace Spirits. - You may only create Lace Spirits from grade Common-Rare. You may ask for a higher grade Lace Spirits, but the chances are low. However, this may vary for certain people** ➸ adoption/sales of species - As mentioned above, you are only allowed to make one. However, feel free to adopt/buy/trade as many as you like, there's no limit to that. [e.g. events such as DTA or OTA. You can buy/adopt as many as you like] - Notify me if you are making/trading/selling a lace spirit. I'll keep track of all of them. Also notify me if the current owners change. - You are not allowed to sell a Lace Spirit for any sort of currency. This includes mall sims (eg. PoP, RT, AW). Only way to sell it is sorely art and premades. However, DA points is allowed but the minimum sale begins from 40 pt. - You may only use the design when I approve it.
