Instructions

▼▼▼ Don’t ya’ll dare at those of us who use mobile to game and do things haha- Anyways, I beat the Moonlord! I had to grind so much for my gear haha- I’ll tell you guys what I personally used in this battle and my armors and equips and stuff. ~Armor~ I used a chlorophyte mask, a beetle shell, and beetle leggings. I main as a melee user, but if you’re going for super high defense, definitely use this set. The melee bonus from the armor is amazing if you main with melee. ~Accessories~ I used Fishron wings since they’re super quick as well as the ninja gear to dodge some attacks. I also used a celestial shell because not gonna lie, I probably wouldn’t have survived without the bonuses it gave. For the boots, the best in my version of the game are the frostspark boots. Last but not least, I have a worm scarf. I went over to my other expert mode world file to get it, which imo isn’t cheating, because it’s legit haha- It reduces damage done by like 17% which is absolutely amazing and I probably couldn’t have gotten by without it. I reforged as much as I could to get warding on all of them to get the most defense possible. For my pets, as you can see, I have an eyeball spring and a wisp. The wisp is great for providing light, but it’s an absolute pain to farm for in the dungeon. ~Weapons~ While in battle, I used a solar eruption and influx waver, mostly the solar eruption though. It’s great for getting huge damage and still being able to be far away enough that I won’t get absolutely destroyed. For the extra bit of damage, I crafted the stardust dragon staff. ~Other setup/gear~ I went all out for potions. Grab just as many as you can, of all and any type. The absolute musthaves in my opinion though include thorns, ironskin, regen, endurance, swiftness, and wrath. I as well used the cosmic car key UFO mount from the martian madness event because it can fly super fast (41mph) as well as having unlimited flight time. For my arena, I built asphalt blocks on the bottom, since they drastically increase your running speed. I recommend always using asphalt for your arenas, pretty much no matter what boss you’re fighting. Make sure to deck out your arena with campfires, heart lamps, and stars in bottles just for the extra bonuses. I also recommend, at least on my version, putting a large ceiling of pretty much any solid block above your arena; It blocks the moonlord’s deadly laser attack. ~My strategy~ First, I took out the solar pillar. I main with melee, so crafting the solar eruption was a musthave thing for me to do. Depending on what class you main as, take out that pillar first. (Melee = solar, mage = nebula, ranger = vortex, summoner = stardust) If you don’t main a class, i recommend you follow this way since it worked pretty great for me. After crafting the solar eruption, I went to the stardust pillar. I took that one out, collected the fragments, and went to craft the stardust dragon staff. The dragon staff is just good for protection and extra damage against the remaining pillars. I took out the vortex pillar, and last the nebula pillar. I didn’t find it necessary to craft any weapons for those, but if you main either mage or ranger, do that, definitely. (QUICK TIP!: For the solar pilar, stand still, no jumping/flying. For the nebula pilar, never stop moving. For the stardust pillar, don’t wait around, hit everything down now. For the vortex pillar, don’t stay at the same height as your enemies.) quickly got to my arena. Once the boss spawned, I used the solar eruption repeatedly, mostly focused on taking out the hands first and then dodging the attacks. Mostly from here, it’s just dodging and remembering to heal. Always remember to heal. Keep an eye on your health, and if you’re a mage, keep an eye on your mana. That’s pretty much all you’ve got to do, the cat is in the bag (ouch-) from then on. ~Wrap up~ And there you go! That’s basically how my idiot self somehow beat this game. :,) I hope you enjoyed this little guide! ▼▼▼
