Blurkit died by a badger, she still misses him, even as a full-grown warrior with a mate, and everything.
The story, cause why not? Swiftdash sat on a cliff, facing a large ocean. She looked up at the horizon and felt a tear drip down her cheek. Blurkit was up there somewhere, enjoying fresh breeze, and wonderful prey. More tears pelted down her face. She missed Blurkit so much. All of the fun times that they had had together. Blurkit and her, practicing fighting together, Blurkit and her, hunting together, Blurkit and her, laying on the grass and enjoying the sunlight. Now, Swiftdash would never experience those moments with her best friend-- and brother-- again. Tears dripped down her cheeks. Suddenly, a star shined brightly, nearly blinding Swiftdash. Blurkit appeared in front of her. Stars shined in his pelt, and his fur was sleek and glossy. He looked like an energetic kit, and Swiftdash purred at Blurkit "Blurkit! You shouldn't have died!" Swiftdash blurted, "It was all my fault! You should come back!" Blurkit looked at his sister sadly, "There is nothing that I can do to change our destinies" she whispered. Swiftdash looked at her paws. "why must our destinies be so hurtful?" She whispered helplessly. "Swiftdash! Where in StarClan's name have you gone?" A voice called. Blurkit looked up at the sky, "do not grieve much, I will always be watching you..." His form started to fade away, "No! Blurkit! Don't go!" She yowled, tears started dripping down her cheeks, she knew that she would never have that kind of friendship again, --it only leads to sadness-- she turned away from the cliff, and padded towards The rest of her patrol. The rain started pelting down on her, and she cried along with the rain, swearing that whatever she did, it would always remember her brother, no matter what.
