Play Part 1 here! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/396310884/ Part 1 was my first project. :) This is in Early Access, which basically means that I've allowed you guys to look at the shaping of the game! And don't worry, the end project will be much better.

Description

- I'm currently trying to make grass and make the third level - ==================Update Log=============== 11/3/20 - v2.1 - Election Day o_0 - Fixed a bug with the coin counter and made Dark Doubloon blink every once in a while. 10/13/20 - v2.0.3 - Made the gem for the second level a little harder to find. 10/12/20 - v2.0.1 - Better music, I think it fits pretty well. I'm planning to change the backround to something less dark to fit the music. 10/1/20 - v2.0 - Wow, 2.0, this project has come a long way. . . This was a pretty simple update: I just added a death effect and fixed a minor bug. 9/29/20 - v1.9.5 - Are you tired of regular old Orbcoins? Do you want someting that's a little harder to find? Well, the wait is over! A new collectible has been added! Gems are harder to find, and you get a special little message each time you find one. There is one gem per level. 9/17/20 - v1.9 - Art Update - Changed the art for the lava. Also converted the second level into the art I used for the first level. Fixed the bumpiness of the player costume. 8/12/20 - v1.8.4 - Fixed the extrme lag caused by the counter. 8/2/20 - v1.8.3 - Added a proper coin counter, but this platformer engine doesn't handle forever loops well, so that's why this is laggy. :( 7/13/20 - v1.8.2 - Added art for the second level, but didn't complete it. 7/7/20 - v1.8 - FINALLY! I added art! It was VERY painful to put in though, so I only did it for the first level. I also added some music, but don't worry, it isn't going to be the same music in the final version. 7/6/20 - v1.7 - Added wall jumping! I also fixed a bug where you could teleport throught the floor while falling from a great height and moving to the left or right. I added another level. 6/27/20 - v1.6 - Added momentum in the x direction, and I think that that really made the game a whole lot nicer. Added a better player sprite. Wall jumping and imports of some art (hopefully) coming in the next update, but I'm taking a break! 6/24/20 - v1.5 - Added smooth vertical scrolling and a second level that demonstrates that. Overall cleanup of the game was also implemented. Comment the end message if you get there! Big update coming up. 6/23/20 - v1.4 - Added the next level and a functioning portal. The 2nd level is just a basic platform for now. 6/22/20 - still v1.3.5 - Sorry! I was busy. :( Could you guys forgive me? I gave you several straight days of updates. I PROMISE that tommorow v1.4 will come out. Thanks for your understanding! :) 6/21/20 - v1.3.5 - Happy Father's Day! - Didn't quite get the update in, due to festivities. :( Tommorow, v1.4 will be complete with level portals and a way to win. Right now, the "win" script is only halfway done. 6/20/20 - v1.3 - Bugfix - Fixed a bug where lava killed you when it shouldn't. No longer relies on color sensing. Big update tommorow ;). 6/19/20 - v1.2 - Small change to platforms. Added collectible coins ("Orbcoins"), and a fourth platform. 6/18/20 - v1.1 - Added death by lava. Added a slightly better player costume and a black background. Large change to platforms. 6/17/20 - v1.0 - Initial release - Almost no proper features, save collision mechanics, scrolling, and gravity. Press m to show where your mouse is relative to the level. This lets you pinpoint exactly where you want to place an Orbcoin or gem. - DreadfireX out!
