press restore to reset the Mandelbrot or julia set. press the button with a cog on it to go into the settings. click to zoom. in the settings you will find 3 sliders: Julia set<--->Mandelbrot set turn the slider to the left to select Julia set if you have selected the julia set there will be 2 new sliders: j real set the Julia set real value j imag. set the Julia set imagery value use the pallet speed to make the pallet faster. there is a slider called spectrum<->grey-scale turn the slider to the left to select spectrum palette turn the slider to the right to select grey-scale palette. ok.
