I have another art challenge! (ps you don't have to create the monster of a world i did. i have a tendency to take bios REALLY far oops lol) -- Create an oc based on a song. It can be any song, from the alphabet song to Oh Ana to Driftveil City. I don't mind. -- The song must represent 2 things: - The drawing - The personality. He cast a grin at the other dragon in the room and tossed the very knife onto the table. Anachronistic cocked an eyebrow before setting her talons next to the blade. Her companion blinked innocently as he leaned against the wall. "We just had to go for the grand prize, didn't we?" she sighed, although not in an exasperated way. "Sure we did," Dei replied, without much hint that he cared about what he'd had to sacrifice in order to get it. He pulled out another dagger from somewhere else and twirled it in his nimble claws. "Why wouldn't we?" ~ 'so you'll do it' 'yeah man i'll kill him' 'for how much?' 'how 'bout 30' '30 grand?' *spits out coffee* ~ there's this story that the first emperor of the Han dynasty came to be because he accidentally let a few convicts he was transporting escape so he decided to let them all free, organised them into a band of rebels and eventually overthrew the government. 1) i don't know how true this is 2) he'd 100% do that -- Backstory: Dei hatched at a very young age into a troubled family. His mother, Cresset, had already been with egg before, to his half-brother Cauter. At two, his father left them, and he grew up in the SkyWing city of Asriz, where his brother showed him the art of deception and murder. Dei found he had a proficiency for the skill and started to practice it on his own, in secret, until he was able to start freelance jobs of anyone willing to pay. He didn't do it for much, until one day a dragon offered him to kill someone. For a /lot/ of money. The dragon turned out to be the NightWing noble Lord Driada, undercover and looking for a hybrid that had caused him particular trouble. Dei took the job and went looking for a Rain-Sky hybrid, red as the blood moon and shadowy as an eclipse. Also she was swindling his money into her metaphorical pockets. Lowlife, dirty dragons (as Driada put it), didn't have pockets. In fact, he wasn't entirely sure /where/ the money was going. After a few days, he found the dragon; she was attempting to hide in one of his favourite locations (Athe's) where he cornered her. He found out she was a lot smarter than he thought; it's not clear how, but somehow they devised a plan to get Lord Driada's money AND what he'd promised Dei. I'm not going to go into much detail because I'd run out of space but they ended up making a powerful enemy. They don't care. The largest one is called Burek and is the closest settlement to the Mud palace. Only a few chosen dragons are able to become part of this group; the highest ranks are so unknown the few who are even aware the cult exists doubt they are still extant. This group will get tangled up with Dei and Ana; will they be able to keep their wits about them, or will the darkness consume all? -- Oh, and we haven't even gotten to Pantala.
