▼▼▼ I haven’t picked a name for this creature yet, but yep, here ya’ll go! It’s a horror type of creepypasta type thingy, but not too scary. It has mantis feet and really pretty feathers covering it’s back. Though, don’t be fooled by it’s rather alluring appearance! This creature wanders around in the night and gives nightmares and other creepy visions to those all unlucky enough to be near to it. It feeds off of mainly three main emotions; sadness, anger, and most importantly heartbreak, which it prefers. It is able to interfere with radio signals, television signals, and sound waves. It preys on the sound of a person’s voice and is able to mimic it to trick others into falling into it’s trap. Other than feeding on emotions, it’s extremely carnivorous. This creature is completely invisible when inhabiting a dream or actively preying on it’s prey. At all other times, it’s visible in *this* form, it’s colors making it a huge disadvantage in most situations. Back to the topic of dreams and nightmares, it enters it’s prey’s dream and destroys the things they care about as well as pressing worries onto them in the forms of nightmares. Common dreams it gives to it’s prey include quite vivid paralysis lucid-like dreams in which the host of the dream is rejected by someone they feel infatuated towards, sees the ones they care about most dying, or themselves dying. The creature is somewhat like a parasite, yet instead of being in huge numbers, evidence suggests it’s one of the last of it’s species. It’s rumored that in the past it was a quite abundant creature and lived in preying packs, but as of recent endangerment and or extinction, it’s gone solitary. It’s other disadvantages include it’s bright colors. It’s easy to spot when it’s not preying, and it is unable to go invisible while asleep or moving without attachment to it’s host’s brain. The structure of it’s legs and long dragging tail make it difficult for the creature to run. Sometimes, when great damage (mental or physical, good or bad, just any huge impact) is inflicted on the host of the creature, it can be knocked out of sync with the host’s brain, giving the host it’s preying on a chance to escape. The creature also sometimes gets bored of toying with a specific entity’s emotions, and will just leave during the night, making sure not to be seen. Overall, this creature brings great mental, emotional, and sometimes even physical trauma and damage to anyone unlucky enough to cross it’s path. I’d like it if ya’ll could help me pick a cool sounding name for it! ▼▼▼
