#STOPADVERTISING My Take On The The Stop Advertising description From the studio First, when there's lots of spam and advertising on my profile, I miss some of the more important comments of people asking questions or just some people that would like to chat with some of their favorite scratchers or people they look up to. Now if i close commenting, then I stop the advertising, but then i also stop anyone else from talking to me. - Another reason, is usually when you advertise, you don't gain much. You'll get a few views, but you might get some hate. We'd like to get the message to everyone to prevent people from advertising without knowing what they're doing. Sure you get some views, but not many will love cause most people get annoyed my advertising - I've been on scratch for almost 5 years, and i didn't get to 100 followers until after 3 and a half years. I didn't advertise to get here though. Sure scratch isn't about the fame and what not, but it sure feels great to get noticed and get lots of loves! I like to help underrated scratchers get some attention, but advertising is an artificial way of getting views. One thing that can sometimes make me a bit mad when someone advertises, is cause then they get some views that i don't know if I'd say they earned, and it seems like an artificial way of getting views, which i never did. - I'm currently making a series i called The Unfamous, where i let 80 other scratchers in and get them some attention in an epic action packed 3 part movie. I'll do other projects like this where i let others participate in my projects and get some attention. I like to help people get attention, and i don't think advertising is the way to do it. - There is a time and place for advertising. There is a show and tell forum where you can advertise, and you can share your projects in other studios like the Propose Projects to be Featured studio. I don't want advertising to fill my profile and my projects, and i think i kinda have that right since i own the projects. You can put your projects in other places to be seen, spamming profiles isn't the way to do that.
