Welcome to The Elements. All instructions are in-game, but in case you forget (cause it's shown briefly), you can use 1-4 to switch between abilities. Also your abilities won't work if you hold ←↑ together. I have no idea why, and there genuinely doesn't seem to be anything making that happen. However you shouldn't need to hold up for any abilities that this would be an issue for.
