Yes, this idea came directly from ScratchCiv, and credit to that goes to them. No, this is not a Multi-Animator-Project. So what is this? This is Quarterra, a derivation of Quarentine and Terra, the Latin of Earth. But what is it for? Well, I'm bored, so I thought it would be cool to make a continent. You can explore this continent however you want, just know these two things: a) Try to make it as realistic as possible, e.g. Your character doesn't actually possess this map until (s)he maps it all out. b) Your ship should be sailing in from the east. If you want to break one of the above rules, let me know before you start your adventure. Scale: That lake in the middle is about 100km (60mi) from North tip to South. Legend: Blue = Water (there is no altitude scale because in this adventure its sole purpose is for sailing to and from the island) Green = Base Colour Darker Green = Thicker Forest, ranging from no trees at all to hardly passable by the average full grown man. Less Saturated Green = Higher Altitude, ranging from a few metres (roughly five feet) above sea level to about 8000m (5 miles). Note that the above two may overlap, like in the southeastern end of the forest on the smaller Isle. Beige = Desert or Beach. Dark Yellow (is that dark yellow?) = Extremely Fertile Soil.
