The rook can only move up and down, the pawn can eliminate your player by going one square diagonally forward. Otherwise when they move normally, they move one square. The knight is the hardest to explain but the can only go in a sort of an L shape. You can look up visible squares of movement of knight chess on google. If a pawn gets to the opposite side of the side it started on, it turns into a queen. The queen can do what you can do. At the bottom of each pfp, it shows what type of player it is.
