Together with his packmates, they would hunt for food in the frozen desert. However one day the pack got fed up with Notan's overly flirty attitude and abandoned him in a blizzard. Notan having nowhere to get out of the storm and having lost his packmates found shelter in a small hole where he would spend the night. When the blizzard ceased Notan went looking for his packmates, he couldn't pick up their scent or even a trace of them anywhere...
